Dean & St. Mary's are proud to support mTT!

Our team's fundraising efforts are well under way and we hope you will consider making a donation to our efforts! Remember, every dollar makes a difference!!!

We are so pleased that Dean & St. Mary's will be supporting this team throughout our journey - starting with the chair donation in 2015 and a team donation in 2016.

Check out the new wheel covers that just came in!!!

A big thumbs up Dean & St. Mary's!

Watch for more information about how the patients and staff at Dean & St. Mary's will have opportunities to engage with the mTT mission this spring and summer.

And please consider joining us on September 11th to cheer on Krissy's Madtown Team!

Team Krissy Interview: IRONMAN Wisconsin 2016

The video is ready!!!!
Please take a few minutes and meet and learn more about this incredible team of individuals.

Congratulations to the team - this is absolutely amazing!
And a huge shout out to Christian for pulling this together.

24 hour bike challenge

Last weekend our Angels participated in a Winter Cycling Relay Challenge on the mTT relay team. This is a unique fundraising event that raises money and brings together bikers for a cause... this year, the Wisconsin AIDS Ride. Up to nine teams can compete, each providing cyclists for 24 hours straight - adding up their total miles as they go.

Patrick had two hours in a row starting at midnight - but managed to get some photos for me
(since I was happily at home in bed!)

Sounds like the set up was pretty cool - two identical sides of trainers - bikers bounced from side to side so the ride continued the whole 24 hours!

Lisa and John split up there times between Friday night and Saturday morning...
Love the selfies!
(Lisa, Kristin and Kim - sweatin' it out for Team mTT)

Loved Lisa's facebook tag on this... "when your KILLING it and your annoying friends make you pose for a selfie!"

View from the bikes --- for all the tech savvy people other there!

Artsy photos at 2am --- I like it :)

Making our video

Last week the team got together to start collecting footage for the "Krissy's Madtown Team" Video!
I asked the team to snap a few photos so we could have a sneak peek!

I love this picture -- this is Christian from mTT. He is the fearless leader of mTT and will be helping us with this journey all year. He is also a genius with video making.
The picture really shows the candidness of the process - can't wait to see the finished product!!!
(aka - check back soon!)

And the team celebrating Krissy's birthday with cupcakes!

Team dinner --- first of many!

We got the team and families together on Sunday night for a team dinner. I think we are all excited to see everything starting to come together and spending time together is just the icing on the cake.

There is always lots to talk about --- training opportunities, fundraising efforts, helping one another through the triumphs and pitfalls of training, etc. But I really believe the time together is just good for us all.

In case you haven't clicked on the fundraising link on the top right of this page (!)
Please check it out. As you will continue to see here, A LOT goes into the amazing efforts of mTT and we are all doing our part to make sure that continues well beyond Krissy's Madtown Team!

Team collaboration at its best (with AFC Championship football on in the background!)

Family is a big part of the equation too --- Lily is clearly a big help than the little guys - but we are all happy to have them with us for the ride!

Happy Birthday Captain Krissy!

Happy Birthday Krissy!!!!!

Hope your day is fantastic - it's gonna be an amazing year!

Here's to many more happy birthdays :)

Ironman song

So I have been meaning to post this for a while now.
This is what I consider the "Ironman song" after watching that amazingly inspirational video about mTT Ironman 2015.
Before the holidays the choir from Lincoln Elementary came to St. Mary's to sing for patients, staff and families and I was able to record a snippet from their performance.

Enjoy!
